We don't sell parish data. Here's what we collect, what we use it for, and how to ask us to delete it.
We collect what you give us. When you create your parish, that's your name, email, parish name, and parish location. When you vote on what's next, it's your role, an approximate parish size, and the modules you picked. When you write to us through the contact form, it's your name, email, topic, and message. When your parish invites volunteers, it's their name, email, ministry preferences, and vacation dates. We don't ask for anything we don't need to run Paroecia.
We may use lightweight analytics to understand which pages parishes find useful and where they get stuck. If we do, we'll keep it to first-party measurements wherever practical and we won't try to identify individual visitors. If something changes here in a way that matters, the "Last updated" date moves and we write to anyone with an active account.
We use what you give us to run Paroecia for your parish, to confirm a vote or signup, and to talk to your parish about Paroecia. We don't sell parish or parishioner data. We don't share it with third-party marketers. We don't let one parish see another parish's roster or votes.
Your data is stored in cloud infrastructure based in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each parish's data is isolated; the only people who can read your roster are the people you have invited.
We keep your parish's data as long as your relationship with Paroecia is active. If your parish cancels, we keep the data for 60 days so you can export anything you need, then delete it. Short-lived records like rate-limit counters and page-view counts are auto-deleted on shorter windows.
Write to us through our contact form and tell us what to delete. We confirm and act within seven days. If you'd like a copy of your data first, ask in the same message and we'll send it.
If we change anything material on this page, we move the "Last updated" date and write to anyone with an active account at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
